AEOLIAN GENERATORS THEORY AND CALCULATIONS FOR AEOLIAN / AEROGERADORES TEORIA E CÁLCULOS PARA INSTALAÇÕES EÓLICAS

"The new battery that is of type ORB, that is, “organic radical battery” is based on polymers of organic radicals. The charge is obtained from an oxidation - reduction reaction (redox) in the region of the radical.
The cathode is constituted of organic radical polymers, being one of the plastic types with a stable radical in its molecular structure.
The organic stable polymer assumes the gel form permeated for the electrolyte, that is, a state of substance between the solid and the liquid in which the polymer is expanded to be re-covered by a solvent. This is the state that explains the so flexible conformation of the new battery. Moreover, the chemical reaction is so fast that you leave them migrate softly through the general state. This confers a small resistance to the chargeable reaction, allowing that this is completed in less than 30 seconds. The energy density is of the order of 1 mili watt-hour per squared centimetre; this allows its use in active intelligent labels, labels RFID that do not lack of readers to function. Figure 1 shows a cell of these."

Posface
Once upon a time I read in the Ecclesiastes the words: “And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end”. It seems to be an injunction against more books, perhaps particularly so in respect to books about “Wind”, of which there are already many. However, the preacher goes on to day: “And much study is a weariness of the flesh,” which is an evident reason for another book, and especially this book. This book is written not for specialists but, for the engineer and the technician in these subjects who want to know as much about “the Power of the Wind” as they can without too much study, “a weariness of the flesh”. It is written to give the background of “Wind Energy “ knowledge in a way which will help our engineering students and others who are not specialists to understand something about what the specialists are doing and why.
The scope of this book is indicated by its title: Aeolian Generators. That`s all. That´s in it.
